The benefits of a global world for your wedding day

Via Modernfairytale

It’s a global world!

Well, I am not a fan of this and hate when I find Starbucks in Bali  instead of a unique coffee shop or H&M in Milan instead of the old time fashion boutique. However, I do realise that the world has changed and it will continue to do so, therefore there is no point in complaining but a much better attitude would be to make the most of the new structure of things.

A global world means that we can assist couples from all over, that we can meet our brides and grooms on Skype providing them with a personal service as if we were based around the corner.

It also means we can work with our mobile phones and laptops from everywhere without the need of having to sit all day at a sterile desk in an office. We can write and speak to clients and suppliers from an airplane, a beach sun-lounger, a comfy city delicatessen or the bar of an art gallery. The quality of our service doesn’t change.. actually it does: as we are more inspired and more stimulated by the surrounding environments we become more creative and are able to offer a more enthusiastic, effective and energetic service. We come up with better ideas and are always working with a smile, which -without doubts -affects our performance level.

The other benefit of globalisation and technology is that our team members can be located in different cities, they can all work remotely to suit their personal lives and we can all meet in person only when necessary, at reccies/workshops/shoots or at our events. This way we are spread in different places, are more flexible, can touch base with different clients and suppliers at different times and don’t have to charge the cost of expensive offices/overheads back to our clients.

Finally, the best advantage of a world without boundaries, is the
possibility of sourcing suppliers from all over without having to
stick to local ones if they cannot satisfy our desires. Talented
photographers, musicians, videographers, entertainers can travel to
us, to our events. Flights are becoming cheaper and combining a
holiday with a couples of job bookings makes working a total pleasure.

We don’t have to limit ourselves or our clients with a small list of partner suppliers but can scout the entire world for the right
talents. For the same reason we don’t have to limit our clients with a
small list of venues we work with as it’s much more effective to
always look for new/better places that can match their needs and
expectations. Italy is big and there are infinite options.

I know that for many it is still difficult to understand the concept of a virtual office (or studio in the case of an event agency like us), of a limitless service without local boundaries, of an enlarged
team of partners instead of a small number of regular connections but
I sincerely hope that everyone, in the near future, will start to
appreciate the beauty of our philosophy and the higher standard of
service our approach grants.

The world is global and local knowledge does not stop at the border.
 Let’s embrace innovation.
