I watched this video this morning, when I woke up. My husband handed me his iPhone in bed and I was either very emotional, or still in my personal world of dreams as tears came to my eyes. PASSION, LOVE, DETERMINATION, HOPE…yes, we always keep dreaming…and we never stop.
Here is a post to inspire the Gentlemen on our site. After spending hours on YouTube, I found this video of a Movie Trailer a man made for his girlfriend to propose. On their second date he said ‘they were going to make the movies Jealous.’ I think he did a fine job of that. His proposal was sincere, and it related to the couple and their relationship, which is why it made for ‘Their’ perfect proposal.
Well, it’s January, that time of year that even the coldest of hearts can’t help but be filled to the brim with that warm happy stuff. We’re thinking of Love Stories, our own, the past, disasters, rollercoasters and the ultimate state of contentment.
We found this video on what we can only describe as the idealistic perfect wedding day. Your special day where even your neighbour’s cousin and the best friends dog are pitching in and getting involved.

We have over our time in this business seen many, many weddings invites, however the ones we love most are the personal ones, the silly ones and the invites where you see the couple for who they really are. Take a Canon 450d, two of your secretly stashed away rubber ducks and a willing fiance and what are you left with? What we love about this invite is that little glimmer into their relationship, their “friendship” and their creative, humourous personalities! It does not matter if you are planning to show an old movie, your baby pictures or a video of your first holiday together, what’s important is how you do it! Imagine a few trendy sunloungers, cushions scattered on the grass, colourful blankets and hammocks between trees…a few wooden boxes with popcorns and nuts, trays with ice cold beer and cokes, scented candles, paper lanterns hanging from branches…a white sheet and an old projector. Here it is! Everytime I wander around vintage markets, I am always fascinated by those old 8mm Video Cameras.. “what can you do if you buy one of those?” I used to ask myself. I recall a video my uncle took of me and my family many ( too many) years ago now. Everytime we watch it, there is something about it that makes us all smile…maybe it brings a feeling of immortality? The colours, the fact that it gives a sense of warmth, of past times which will never come back again. I don’t know. It just brings back memories, good ones.
I met Mark Brown some time ago and he was a true inspiration to me. Mark is a videographer who still uses an old 8 mm Video Camera and he creates wonderful vintage-style memories with it. His wedding videos are simply amazing, that blury look you have always searched for over and over again, but you were never able to find with the new technologies…well his videos have it!
