What can you discover while walking in a park in the Netherlands? … a secret Garden of Tulips of course… Oh ! And the scent of spring all around. I can’t explain why but tulips make me happy! So bright and colourful, they always place a smile on my face! I have found this secret garden and its space was divided into colours and type. Yellow and pink, red and purple, light pink and bright pink. I thought immediately that tulips are beautiful but how wonderful would be to divide them into colours and create a table colour palette divided into nouances ? Imagine a long table with tulips as centerpieces starting from nouances of strong red colour ending with light pink. A lively Dutch Tulip field as wedding table!

Are you planning your wedding in winter but your favourite flowers are Peonies, Tulips, Daffodils or Daisies? what to do then? How do you compromise on such an important detail?
I must admit that in fact I am more intrigued by the selection of winter flowers than spring palettes. The nature in winter seems like showing you all the colours of the wool, cachemere, fire and wood. And today while walking at the local market a few beautiful shapes caught my eye.
A long winter table, warm candles, grand austere branches of wood, cotton balls, and purple red, white, dark green colours. Maybe it is because my favourite colour is purple, or maybe because purple reminds me of something precious when mixed with the red ( the Holy Church uses this colours on very special days), I don’t know. I just think these colours when mixed together decorate a table in a rather unique, elegant way. So don’t compromise! Look around, and you will find beauty in every season, in every shape and in every colour.

Wood slabs, butterflies, rocks, hedgehogs are perfect for the autumn season… but what about mushrooms? If you are organising an outdoor wedding for this autumn, here are some ideas for you! The woodland theme is very popular at the moment so it was fun to have so many inspiring parties as reference points. I like the idea of adding mushrooms to your decoration, whether you opted for a quirky wedding or an event with a rustic feel. You can in fact choose between fairy tale-like red & white mushrooms or the more realistic brown ones, and they will all be so cute if used in boutonnieres, bouquets and centrepieces! And for the cake and candy bar corner… lots of other interesting ideas are waiting for you!

For a true wedding extravaganza, here is a Circus Themed Wedding! This post is made especially for those couples who aren’t afraid to let their hair down and have a little fun on their big day. And even though most of you won’t be having a wedding based on a circus, I still think that you are going to like it for the absolutely darling details! I love the idea of bringing fun and strong colours to your wedding day. The red and white details as the playful cake shaped ring or the cute striped hat are such a great idea! Not to mention the fabulous Russian dolls used as place cards! These little gems are definitely going to make you smile and leave your guests surprised. I’m sure that with this magical atmosphere it won’t be difficult for your guests to enjoy your wedding party!

Colours, colours, colours! I love Indian weddings! I wish all the Indian brides could bring something of their happy culture at the wedding party.
Indian bracelets, Mehndi henna decorations, red, fucsia, orange and yellow flower garlands..Traditions are important, and in every wedding they should be respected not only with the ceremony but also with a few extra details, being them clothes or other items which can turn your wedding into YOUR OWN VERY SPECIAL event.
