Vinyl discs for a vintage wedding

Since I was very young I’ve been always attracted by old cloths, accessories and photo albums of my grandmother. In particular I’ve been amused by her old (broken) gramophone and vinyl discs.. I remember spending so much time smelling them and imagining the living room full of people who were dancing! My mother today preserves the whole collection of records.. And I would never ask her to lend them to me for a wedding.. Still I love the idea to play vintage records at a wedding party! There are lots of places where you can find pre-loved records… charity shops are the best for it (you can pay less than 50p per record)! I’ve found some interesting ideas about using vinyl discs at your reception … just for adding a retro touch to your special day! For those couples who love music, who play some instruments or simply love a retro’style. There are so many alternative ways to use records! Vinyl butterflies, for example…These would be fabulous dotted around your wedding venue, on the walls! Perfect for detailed shots too! Vinyl table numbers/names, old record wedding invitations or save the dates (paper isn’t the only way to send out a save-the-date!) and … what about a vinyl guestbook? You can personalise the central label with your names and wedding date and have your guests sign the vinyl with permanent marker- to be displayed on your wall for a lifetime!
