Birdcages as centerpieces

Bird cages are not only for birds anymore. Let those volatiles free and use their old home as a shabby chic idea for your wedding centerpieces. Birdcages are simple elements which can be utilised in so many ways.

They can be seen as hanging lamps, flower containers, desert displayers, candle keepers. Here are some ideas on how to use them, and some of my favourite shapes. One factor is important when opting for birdcages: they need to be vintage, in order to create a more authentic shabby-chic look.
