“Anyone can be passionate, but it takes real lovers to be silly.”

I love this title quote from Rose Franken – and it is so true. It’s rare to find someone who loves you for all of your kooky quirks and ridiculous ways – and even rarer to find someone who shares them! So whether it’s a love of space hoppers or Star Wars, take inspiration from these brides and grooms and don’t be afraid to incorporate your unconventional enthusiasms into your wedding day!

Henna tattoos are a long sought after art, and an ancient tradition. It is so facinating how intricate, beautiful, and detailed these pieces of art really are. A beautiful work of henna does more than any dress ever could. It ads design in the areas that are otherwise ignored, and compliments any wedding dress.Traditionally Henna would accompany an Indian wedding gown. Spun With Gold

Ooo we love, we love!! Donatella stepped out of hiding for the first time since 2004 with this most recent collection, inspired by gold and 1950′s hollywood glamour. The designs were an array of evening outfits, party dresses and gowns, all delicately embroidered with crystals and lace. It made us thing of alternative colors for wedding dresses, gold, sometimes deemed as dangerous, could be too OTT? Done right however and it can be beautiful. Teamed with the right pair of Manolo Blahniks and what have you got? A dream spun with gold.

Buckle up!

 Via Honey&Jam

I realised early in life not to mess with a man and his car. I remember my brother out front of our house, washing his car daily, detailing every last inch of it, and shining it ’til he could see his face in it. Sometimes I would come outside and him and his friends would be standing there just staring at it. I’ve always realised a relationship was going somewhere when I was finally granted the keys to drive.  There’s just something about a man and his car.

So ladies, if you are having trouble getting your man to contribute to the Wedding planning here is something that I KNOW he will LOVE. Why not get him to choose that ‘Hot’ ride that you guys will roll up in on your Wedding Day. With so many gorgeous cars out there its hard to go wrong, and he will be so excited.

You might want a Pink Chevrolet but maybe he likes a black Rolls…do let him pick! You can always make it more classy or funky with the appropriate decor. Here are a few ideas…!!!

Today I blog to you on the beloved Waterfall Braid. Waterfall braids can be sported at the beach,  out for tea with friends, or for a fun night out…its true, any occation.

How to create the Waterfall braid:

1. Start with front pieces of your head

2. Begin to add new pieces with the French Braid method (going around the head, and cascading down)

3. Each time doing this dropping the bottom piece

4. Continue as far around the head as you would like

5. End by pinning the end of the braid in place

We love the Waterfall braid. It is so complex and so unique, and is perfect for any bride to wear for their beach wedding.
