I met Angela and Douglas a while ago, when they were deciding where to get married.
I loved the fact that they brought their traditions into my country.
“A groom wearing a skirt” … an idea Italian men would definitely not consider for their wedding day… Douglas and his friends instead, carried their traditions, brought their own Scottish kilts to Southern Italy and had a blast.
I can still see the eyes of the older men, sitting under the shadow of a tree, in the Italian piazza, looking at those boys wearing their traditional skirts.Heroes coming from green England…or some strange people who decided to get married in Italy!!!

I cannot think without them, I need them.
I cannot imagine any day in black and white and when I open my closet, the first items catching my attention are colours! When I enter a shop, when I look at the nature.
I look around with a detailed attention and I notice… my house is like a rainbow.
I love these pictures of this new photographer, she has talent, she has eye for details and most of all, she sees the colours… a little bit like me….
Thank you Cinzia for this colourful impression of the wedding’s world. ♥ Read more and view more photos

Kirsti and Richard from the UK, decided to start organising their wedding only 3 months before their chosen date.
They had been together for 15 years and only last year they decided to celebrate their love in front of their family and friends…. they liked the idea of spending the day with their dearests abroad, somewhere that it was easily accessible from the UK, somewhere warm, somewhere special… and they chose Italy!
All their guests flew in on the day before the event and they stayed for the week end . They spent most of their time by the pool, and shared tasty lunches and relaxing dinners at big communal tables . On the wedding day itself, I bumped into Richard who was jogging on the hills around the villa, while everyone was wondering where he was! Never seen before such a relaxed groom! ♥ Read more and view more photos

We have had the chance to attend this beautiful vintage session in Italy. It was a fun event and despite the over spoken, proposed and fashionable vintage mood, we cannot really move forward to the next fashion generation.
We are romantic, what to say! We still love the objects of the past, the clothes, the style of the women, the feminine glam they carried while walking…
This event was organized thanks to the shop Aloe & Wolf in Italy and it was captured by Lelia Scarfiotti.
We hope you enjoy these pictures.

Well, it’s January, that time of year that even the coldest of hearts can’t help but be filled to the brim with that warm happy stuff. We’re thinking of Love Stories, our own, the past, disasters, rollercoasters and the ultimate state of contentment.
We found this video on what we can only describe as the idealistic perfect wedding day. Your special day where even your neighbour’s cousin and the best friends dog are pitching in and getting involved.
The video was shot using an apple color to give that all, always on trend, vintage feel. Keep your eyes peeled for that umbrella, beautiful!!!
Happy New Year to you all!!!!!!!
